Meet The Team!

    Musician • Instructor • Performer

Music has been a part of my life since I was six years old. What started as a childhood passion grew into a lifelong journey as a musician, performer, and teacher.

I've been performing live since the 1980s and have spent decades developing my skills across guitar, bass, and drums. While I still play all three instruments, guitar is my primary instrument today. My musical foundation comes from blues, rock, funk, soul, and the many styles I've encountered throughout years of playing with other musicians.

I'm also a five-time Battle of the Bands winner, but for me, music has never been about trophies or simply playing the right notes. It's about understanding the instrument, developing your own sound, playing with feel, and learning how to communicate through music.

I spent 10 years as a music instructor, working with hundreds of students at different levels and with different goals. That experience taught me that there isn't one approach that works for everyone. Some students want to learn their first chords. Others want to understand improvisation, develop their technique, join a band, or finally learn how to turn the things they hear in their head into music.

My approach to teaching is built around practical musicianship. Technique and theory are important, but they should serve the music—not get in the way of it. I want students to understand why something works, not simply memorize where to put their fingers.

Whether you're picking up an instrument for the first time, getting back into music after years away, or looking to take your playing to the next level, my goal is the same: help you become a better musician while developing your own voice.

After decades of playing, performing, teaching, and learning, I'm excited to open that door again and share what I've learned with the next generation of musicians.
